Pedro Nueno

Pedro Nueno es arquitecto técnico, ingeniero industrial y doctor en administración de empresas por la Universidad de Harvard. Fue fundador y es actualmente presidente honorario de la CEIBS (con sedes en Shanghái, Pekín, Shenzhen, Acra, Zúrich), escuela líder de dirección de empresas en Asia. Durante seis años (2005-2011) formó parte del Visiting Committee de la Harvard Business School. Fundador de Finaves, fondo de capital de riesgo basado en el IESE que ha impulsado más de 40 empresas con más de 3.000 puestos de trabajo directos. Ha recibido numerosas distinciones, como la Creu de Sant Jordi de la Generalitat de Cataluña (2003), la Magnolia de Plata y la Magnolia de Oro del Gobierno de Shanghái (2007), el Friendship Award del Gobierno de China (2009), el Outstanding Contribution Award del Gobierno de China (2014) y la Encomienda de Número de la Orden de Isabel la Católica del Reino de España (2015). Es también autor de numerosos libros, entre los que se encuentran Gracias, China (2017), Jubilado. ¿Y ahora qué? Pedro Nueno is a technical architect and industrial engineer and doctor of business administration from Harvard University. He is also Professor of IESE and he was the founder and is currently the Honorary President of CEIBS (with campuses in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Accra and Zurich), Asia’s leading business school. He was member of the Visiting Committee of the Harvard Business School for six years (2005-2011). He is the founder of Finaves, a venture capital fund based in IESE that has launched more than 40 companies with more than 3,000 direct jobs. He is the author of 21 books translated into diferent languages. He has received numerous distinctions such as the Creu de Sant Jordi (Saint Jordi Cross) of the Government of Catalonia (2003), the Silver Magnolia Award and the Golden Magnolia Award of the Government of Shanghai (2007), the Friendship Award of the Government of China (2009), the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Government of China (2014) and the Encomienda de Número de la Orden de Isabel la Católica del Reino de España (Commander by Number of the Order of Isabella the Catholic of the Kingdom of Spain) (2015). He is also the author of numerous books, including Thank You, China (2017), Retired. And Now What? (2018), Managing With Values (2020), Seniors Leading Well (2021) and Managing With Speed (2021) all published by Plataforma Editorial.
