Train Them for Life

Train Them for Life

It outlines concrete resources for making the much-discussed idea of emotional education, which so often remains solely in the theoretical realm, into reality.

This is not a theoretical book but is written from the author's privileged position, explaining what happens to children as they grow older.

In the last 30 years children have changed, as has society. The tools which served to educate them in the past no longer produce the same results. This book discusses the many situations that the author has experienced as director of a holiday camp attended by thousands of children, offering resources for dealing with childrens' emotional weaknesses, especially fears, insecurities and overprotection.
