Having A Child With Autism

By: Melisa Tuya

 pages

This book is the journey of the mother of a child with autism through overcoming the suspicion and denial, the difficulty in accepting the diagnosis and its volatility, the need to act, acceptance, what she can count on and what she can't and, finally, through normalization, taking the challenges, vindication and the search for happiness. The story is sincere and earnest. It is optimistic without trying to disguise the reality of this condition. The reflections and life experiences it shares aspire to help those who love a person living with autism or disability.
