About Plataforma

Introduction

Plataforma is an independent publisher which only makes books that are worth reading and talking about. Our name, which is Spanish for Platform, arises from our goal to be part of a larger project. A project in which we look for new formats and contents. A project for friends, authors, readers and booksellers to enjoy. A project where everyone counts and to which everyone is welcome.

We want to be pushed forward by the discoveries of authentic books and talented authors who are generous in the sharing of their knowledge, who are capable of moving us and who can help us give meaning to our lives.

Our engine uses a mix of enthusiasm, joy and, above all, love for our work. We want to be known as a team which is both professional and passionate.

Our catalogue is composed of rigorous, clear books about Current Times; purposeful, enlightening Testimonies; rediscovered, powerful Narratives; honest, enveloping Historical Novels; and thrilling Crime Novels. We choose our books with great care in order to respect our readers’ time and intelligence.

Our challenge: gaining the confidence of our readers.

Plataforma, faithful to its compromise of publishing books that are authentic, books that make sense, donates 0,7 % of its sales to various NGOs it works with.
